Meet the Dragonspire Bank
The Dragonspire Bank is the premier financial institution of the Holy See. Proudly funding everything from the Brume Restoration through to the nameday celebrations of various nobles, the bank is backed by the commercial operations of House Kane. The Bank is deeply involved in many research grants with the First Dicasterial Observatorium of Aetherial and Astrological Phenomena, and with wider initiatives in Old Sharlayan.Following the end of the Dragonsong War, the Dragonspire Bank was established to provide a primary point of financial reliability for all peoples of Ishgard. All those who call Ishgard home and have proof of citizenry, or special dispensation by a member of the House of Lords, or House of Commons, are entitled to open up an account with the bank. Operating out of premises in Empyreum, the Bank is well positioned to serve all members of Ishgard.
Roleplay Hooks
The Dragonspire Bank is an extension of the House Kane roleplaying group, and is used primarily as a 'supporting cast' in roleplay storylines. However, if you would like to strike up a conversation with the bank, or to bring some corporate financial storylines into your world, here's how we can work together:
Business Audits - is your business overdue for an audit? Worried about the Ishgardian Income Revenue Services tracking you down and issuing you a huge fine? The Dragonspire Bank can, for a small fee, send a member of the Auditing department to review your business operations, stocktake and check all your accounts to ensure you're in compliance with Ishgardian financial and commercial laws. You will be issued with a certificate of compliance upon completion.
Research Grants - got an adventure idea, or need some additional support while you're out in the field conducting essential research? Apply for a research grant and the Dragonspire Bank will send a member of the Grants department to assess your application on site. You will be asked a series of questions by our dedicated team member, who will evaluate and give you an outcome on the spot!
Business Endeavours - at the end of the day, we're a Bank roleplay! If you're in the throes of putting together some roleplay commercial endeavour or looking at bringing in some alternate storylines where a financial institution could play in, then we can help.
Slice of life - open a bank account, and live through the drama of arguing with a Bank Teller as you try to access your funds. 'Gotta run - need to get to the Bank before it closes' will be your guaranteed out when you're in the Quicksands and need to duck away. In the middle of your grand fantasy drama, let some slice of life give you a dose of reality to balance things out.

The Eternal Vaults
Managed by Archledger Thémier Granzelant. All applications to open an Eternal Vault of your own should be directed to the Archledge directly.Situated in an undisclosed location, and accessible by authorised individuals only, the Eternal Vaults hold a sheer fortune of gil which helps the Bank finance its various projects and investments. New members are allocated an Eternal Vault when they join up to the Dragonspire Bank and their savings, bonds and investments are securely stored within until such time that they need them.The Eternal Vaults are the ultra-secure, long-term asset preservation chambers. Officially, they are classified as Tier-0 Archives, inaccessible without dual directorate authorisation, containing holdings deemed too valuable, sensitive, or ancient to circulate through regular banking infrastructure.They are not simply storage; they are financial sanctums, housing the forgotten, the generational, and the deliberately dormant.To facilitate day-to-day transactions, gil is constantly moved between the Eternal Vaults and the primary banking building. Managed by a secure and robust staff, guarded heavily at all steps of the process, funds are collected and transported by an unknown method.

Updated this 24th Sun of the Fourth Astral Moon.*Bank executive management has confirmed that the base lending rate will sit at 5.75%, to be reviewed in 12 sennights' time, in accordance with Ishgardian Financial Laws. Update expected by the 24th Sun of the Fifth Umbral Moon. To combat economic instability and uncertainty, additional checks and requirements may be requested.
